Blooms are gigantic, up to 1 foot across (the size of a dinner plate). Long-lasting blooms are impressive from July/August until the first frost makes showy cut flowers in colors from red, yellow, purple, pink, two-toned, and more. Proper pinching and disbudding yield the largest blooms. We suggest staking to support the enormous flower heads. You get 5 gorgeous varieties, one each of 'Kelvin Floodlight' (yellow), 'Otto's Thrill' (pink), 'Cafe Au Lait' (creamy peach), 'Avignon' (white/violet splashed), and 'Emory Paul' (bright rosy purple). Tubers are all bagged and labeled (not sold separately).

In Zones 3-7, dahlia tubers must be dug in fall and stored inside over the winter. For best results, dig the tubers after the first frost and allow them to dry down for a few days before storing them in peat moss in a cool, dry, dark and frost-free location.
