This knife was designed to cut asparagus spears at or below the soil level. Features a 14-3/4 inch stainless steel shaft with a 6-1/2 inch by 2 inch stainless steel blade and a 5 inch wood handle. The sharp crescent edge of the blade easily makes a perfect clean cut - it's strong and durable. To keep your aspargus beds healthy, avoid cuttting within 2 inches of the crown. Can also be used as a weeding tool, too!
