(PPAF) Bright red fruits resemble normal apples from the outside, but that's where the similarities stop. Unique flesh is dark pink to red, firm, crisp and refreshingly sweet, with just a hint of berries – flavor fully develops after 3 to 4 weeks in storage. Vigorous trees grow 6 to 10 ft. tall and have delightful pink flowers in the spring. Begin harvesting in early October. Fruits will store for several months. Not self-fertile, so plant with another apple or crab apple – we suggest Honeycrisp™. Resistant to Scab. 2 to 3 ft. bare root trees. Zones 3-7.
