No other vine is faster growing or more effective as an ornamental screen. Grows up to 20 ft. in one year in a sunny location and is easily trained on a fence or trellis. Each winter they die back to the crown. In late summer the vines bear cone-like flowers with a fresh, pine-like fragrance that are used in making beer. Attractive dark green, deeply lobed foliage. Grows up to 20 ft. Space 2 to 4 ft. apart in full sun. Shipped as potted plants. Zones 5-8. Cannot ship to AK, HI, ID, OR and WA. A popular, disease resistant, aroma-type hop known for its high yields and large, elongated flowers. Adds flavor and aroma to light beers.
