(Lonicera caerulea). Super-hardy and delicious, blueberry-like fruits ripen late May to June. Bushes have small, slightly fragrant, white flowers in early spring followed by fruits similar in color and flavor to large blueberries. These Russian selections are highly suitable in colder USDA Zones 3-4, although they can still produce successfully in warmer zones. Compact, attractive plants have soft, velvety foliage and grow approx. 3 to 4 ft. tall and wide. Begins fruiting 2 to 3 years from planting. Both varieties yield 5 to 10 lbs. 12 to 24 in. bare root plants. A high yielding selection that bears very large and flavorful, sweet-tart, medium blue berries. Great for fresh eating, juicing, and preserves.
