(P.P.16989)-Huge berries - painless picking! This remarkable plant is actually the world's first thornless, primocane-fruiting blackberry. Developed by the University of Arkansas, Prime-Ark® Freedom produces a crop of delectable berries early in the season on old canes and, where conditions are favorable, a second crop on new canes in the fall. The sweet berries are very large with excellent flavor, ripen in mid to late summer and continue to produce fruit until frost.
