A North American native that bears earlier and more profusely than other varieties. Masses of scarlet red berries remain on plants for a long time and are great fresh or used for jams, pies and other tasty treats. Bushy, dwarf and maintains its compact habit. Very ornamental with its shiny, dwarf green leaves and sprays of pinky-white, bell-shaped flowers. Makes an excellent container plants and ground cover as well.
