Small, black, ¼ in. fruits have a terrific flavor similar to blackberries. For eating fresh or making jams, jellies, syrup, juice and wine. Grows to about 4 to 6 ft. tall and wide and sets large amounts of fruit, even during cooler summers. These shade tolerant plants are self-fruitful. Fruits start to ripen in July. High in Vitamin C. Resistant to White Pine Blister Rust, though somewhat susceptible to mildew. 2-yr. #1 bare root plants. Zones 4-7. Cannot ship to AK, DE, GA, HI, MA, ME, NC, NH, NJ, RI, and WV.
