Small, black, 1/4 in. fruits have a terrific flavor similar to blackberries. For eating fresh or making jams, jellies, syrup, juice and wine. Growing about 4 to 6 ft. tall and wide and set large amounts of fruit, even during cooler summers. These shade-tolerant plants are self-fruitful. Fruits start to ripen in July. High in Vitamin C. Resistant to White Pine Blister rust, though somewhat susceptible to mildew. 2-yr. #1 bareroot plants. Zones 4-7.
