Small trees are ornamental, as well as productive. Seldom growing over 10 to 12 ft., they tend to grow as a shrub-like tree and feature attractive yel- low catkins in late winter. Tasty, nutritious nuts are ready to harvest in early fall. Filberts like one-half day of sun and are bud hardy to -15ºF. Plant two varieties for pollination. Usually bears two to three years after planting. Zones 5-8. 2 to 3 ft. bare root seedlings. Very productive and bears at the same time as Gamma. Developed at Oregon State University. Completely resistant to Eastern Filbert Blight. Cannot ship to AK, HI and WA.
