Small trees are ornamental, as well as productive. Seldom growing over 10 to 12 ft., they tend to grow as a shrub-like tree and feature attractive yel- low catkins in late winter. Tasty, nutritious nuts are ready to harvest in early fall. Filberts like one-half day of sun and are bud hardy to -15ºF. Plant two varieties for pollination. Usually bears two to three years after planting. Zones 5-8. 2 to 3 ft. bare root seedlings. Recommended as an excellent pollinator for Yamhill. Produces round, medium-sized nuts with good quality, texture and flavor with low frequenct of moldy kernels. Completely resistant to Eastern Filbert Blight with intermediate resistance to Big Bud Mite. Seedling tree growth is vigorous. Cannot ship to AK, HI and WA.
