Perennial. Excellent for pasture, grazing and hay. Usually mixed with grasses. Long-lived with a deep taproot and running stems. Ideal pasture when sown with Orchard grass. Sow 4 to 5 lbs. per acre alone. Or use 2 to 3 lbs. Ladino with 10 to 12 lbs. Orchard grass. 60 lbs per bushel.
