Annual. Grows 1-1/2 to 3 feet high, with long, dark red blossoms. Plant in fall, spring or summer. Restores worn soil. Best for green manure crops. Mix rye and clover for a good winter pasture. Sow 12 to 15 lbs. per acre alone or 8 to 10 lbs. on small grain. 60 lbs per bushel.
