The earliest field corn we offer, maturing in only 80 to 95 days. Xtra Early 330 is ideal for the Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, upstate New York and all parts of New England. Despite its earliness, the ears are of medium size on a stalk that ranges from medium to medium-short. Yields are excellent for this maturity. We recommend Xtra Early 330 for grain production only. Other varieties we offer are better for ensilage. Seedling vigor is exceptional; plant at a population of 22-25M for best results. Increasingly becoming the variety of choice for late no-till. Seed is TREATED to enhance early emergence. Our best early variety for the extreme North, not recommended South of Interstate-80. A yellow type with very good root strength and dry down. A full bag contains 80M kernels and weighs about 50 pounds.
