The earliest field corn we offer. Ideal for the Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, upstate New York and all parts of New England. Despite its earliness, the ears are an average size depending on growing conditions. Stalk height ranges from medium to medium-short. Yields are excellent for this maturity. We recommend Xtra Early 330 for grain production only. Other varieties we offer are better for ensilage. Seedling vigor is exceptional; plant at a population of 24-28M for best results. Increasingly becoming the variety of choice for late no-till. Our best early variety for the extreme North, not recommended south of Interstate-80. A yellow type with very good root strength and dry down. Seed is treated to enhance early emergence. Matures in only 88 to 94 days.
