One of the oldest varieties available, yet still one of the best shippers, especially for long distances. The rind, although somewhat thin, is tough and elastic. Fruits are deep green, lightly veined, long and cylindrical. Flesh is rich red, firm and juicy. Weighs 20 to 40 lbs. 80 days.
