Perhaps the best corn overall. Extremely sweet, with a super-high sugar content. Since its introduction in 1974, this has been one of our top selling varieties. Holds sweetness after harvest for 10 to 14 days and is considered the most tender of all. Very uniform ears, 8 in. long with 14 to 16 rows of very consistent kernels. Extremely good germination. Does not require isolation. Plant height is 8 to 9 ft. Grows well in all climates. Tall purple stalks with green and purple husks. Excellent for freezing and canning. Yellow type. 83 days.
