A gorgeous old-time, 1942 All-America Selections Winner, classic summer favorite. Deep green, almost black, cylindrical fruits are 8 to 12 in. long, slender, smooth and slightly curved. Delicious flesh is creamy white and very tender. Blossoms are edible, too. Freezes well. Vigorous, bush-type plants are very productive. 57 days.
