A flavor similar to oysters, with creamy white flesh. Roots grow 8 in. long and up, measure 1 to 1½ in. across at the shoulder. Excellent when peeled, sliced and boiled. Stores well. Requires a long season, but is very easy-to-grow. 120 days.
