Also called Big Tom. Best variety for canning and stock feeding. Yields many big, yellow-orange fruits weighing about 20 lbs. Hard, smooth skin is lightly ribbed. Great for Halloween carving because rounded fruits are flattened on both ends. Thick, sweet, fine-grained flesh is excellent for pies and canning.
