1963 All-America Selections Winner. The largest and most heat resistant of all Butterhead types. An improved Bibb type, with the same fine flavor, but larger and more heat tolerant. The heads are heavy and compact with leaves that are thick, juicy and crisp. Very slow to bolt. True gourmet quality. 66 days.
