Our best selling Southern pea resists insects and diseases better than most varieties. Our strain has good resistance to Mosaic virus, a common problem with this variety. Produces 2 crops a season. A brown crowder with creamy-white peas and purple hulls. Delicious flavor and ideal for baking, freezing, fresh or dried. Tolerates heat and drought. Needs warm days and nights. Plant about 30 lbs per acre for a good stand.
We will be substituting Coronet Cowpea for this item.
