National Pickle. Our earliest pickler of all is also an exceptionally heavy bearer. Dark green, cylindrical fruits with blocky ends pack up perfectly in the jar. Good for all types of pickles. Crisp fruits average 6 to 7 in., but pick for sweet pickles at 2 in. Black-spined. Huge yields. Resistant to Scab and Cucumber Mosaic Virus. 50 days.
