Introduced in the United States in the 1850's and still an excellent variety for very small pickles. Fruits average 6 in. long by 2½ in. wide, with white, juicy flesh. Does particularly well when grown on a trellis, frequently growing in clusters of 2 or 3 and yielding continuously, as long as the vines are picked. Pale green on blossom end and dark green on stem end. Early. Only 52 days.
