An extremely rare bean originally from the Narragansett Indian tribe of Rhode Island. Believed to be the original bean that was used to make succotash, a dish of corn and beans and served at the first Thanksgiving dinner. Dime sized beans are deep maroon red and closely resemble kernels of corn. Pole habit.

I tried a number of beans this year and these were quite successful. I feel they started slow but produced heavily for me.
