These are the big hazelnut-looking, tan beans you find on salad bars. Also called Chick Peas. This large, round bean holds its shape well after cook- ing. Nutty flavor also adds a nice touch to chili. Plants are upright and bushy and look different than other beans. Use as a green-shell bean or allow to dry for storage.
