Heirloom from Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee. Original seed is said to have been found in a wild turkey's craw. Stringless, 6 in. pods enclose attractive brown seeds with tan flecks and brown eye rings. Beans are meaty and flavorful. Harvest young to use as a snap bean or let beans fully mature for use as a dry bean. Excellent canned or frozen. Produces heavily. 80-100 days.
