A top-of-the-line Italian bean. The true bush form produces sturdy, 18 to 20 inch plants which need no support. Roma II is well-known for its high yields of uniform 4 to 6 inch long by 3/4 inch wide flat green pods. Pod set is concentrated and held well off the ground for easy picking. Delicious fresh and superb for canning and freezing. Also known as Bush Type Romano. White or buff seeded.
