An old heirloom originally grown by the Mennonite community of Virginia and one of the best ever for slicing. Fruits are huge, often weighing 1-1/2 to 2 pounds, with an unusual boat shape. Color is golden-yellow, with red to pink stripes going through to the core. Striping varies from fruit to fruit. Should be staked. Indeterminate. 75 Days.
